Care Instructions
Daily and weekly care
Vacuum your rug once a week, preferably with the brush head on its soft setting and at low power. On fringed models, move the head parallel to the fringes so they are not pulled into the vacuum. Light shedding during the first few weeks is normal on a newly laid rug; it subsides on its own with regular vacuuming.
Act on spills immediately
Blot spilled liquid with a clean, dry cloth without rubbing. Work from the outside in so the stain does not spread. Wipe gently with a cloth dampened with lukewarm water and a small amount of rug shampoo, then rinse with a clean damp cloth and dry. Do not use a stiff brush, bleach or hot water — they damage the pile structure.
General cleaning
Professional rug cleaning once a year is recommended for a deep clean. Do not fold the rug; roll it when moving or storing. Do not machine wash.
